Zooey Deschanel x Tommy Hilfiger

My all-time favourite girl crush Zooey Deschanel and iconic American designer Tommy Hilfiger, have teamed up to create a capsule collection for Macy's, titled “To Tommy, From Zooey.” The collection consists of Hilger's signature colour palate of red, white and blue and the silhouettes range from pleated skirt styles to classic shirt dresses. The entire collection has a retro feel with Deschanel describing it as “modical” meaning it has both mod and nautical influences.

The “To Tommy, From Zooey” collection includes 14 dresses. It is not outrageously expensive but it is unfortunately only available in Macy's, which is of course American! They do offer international shipping but that might end up being rather expensive.

I am a big fan of this collection, I think maybe the polka-dot shirt dress is my favourite!

I would love to know what you think of this collection, let me know in the comments section below.

I hope are all having a lovely weekend so far!

Flower Child

Every couple of weeks I like to buy some pretty flowers to brighten up my home. I love having flowers in the house and there are lots of lovely kinds to choose from at this time of year. I usually go for white or pink shades and I couldn't resist these beautiful roses!

Coincidentally, I was also wearing this flower crown at the time, so I looked a little flower crazy. I picked this one up in New Look a few weeks back. They have lots of different colours and sizes to choose from and they aren't very expensive. However, I am going to try and make some of my own if I can!

I hope you all had a lovely weekend!

Review: Garnier Miceller Cleansing Water

The Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water has been a real life saver for me over the past few weeks. Gone are the days of red puffy eyes from pulling and tugging at them too much. Normally, my eyes are very sensitive and I have trouble finding products that don't sting them. I also really dislike applying anything to my face that has a strong, overly perfumed scent. Luckily, there is virtually no scent from this product and it feels really lovely and refreshing on the skin. I use it to remove my face make up, followed by a separate eye make up remover. I have to say, it does most of the job, really well actually. It is really good at removing most, if not all of my make up and I only ever have to use a couple of pads with it. I do usually follow up with a cleanser, but that is just personal preference. It is also really nice if you are make up up free and simply feel like refreshing your face during the day.

You get a whopping 400ml for under £3, which is brilliant, and you really only need to use a small amount for each use. All in all, I would really recommend this product and I hope they never discontinue it!

I hope you are all having a lovely week so far!

Kate Moss x Topshop 2014

Mossy is back and just in time for festival season too! I remember the original collection from seven years ago and I loved it. However, I'm so glad she has teamed up with Topshop again now that I am old enough to have my own bank account! This time around it is a Spring Summer collection of boho-luxe garments, think 1920's flapper meets 1970's bohemian. It is exactly what you would expect from Kate Moss. Predictable maybe, but that's not always a bad thing. Together, Kate Moss and Topshop have captured her signature style and turned it into a really cool and wearable collection.

I think my favourite piece is the fringed leather jacket!

What do you think of the Kate Moss x Topshop 2014 collection?

All About The Little Things

Everyday I try to make it a point to appreciate the little things in life that make my day better. Here are some photographs, capturing some fleeting moments that have made me smile. I thought it would be nice to share these with you all, it really is the simple things that make me happy. I think sometimes we all get so caught up in our busy lives that we end up taking these little things for granted.

Anyway, just a short little post from me today. Sorry I have been a bit quiet lately! As I mentioned in my last post, these past few weeks have just been really hectic with assignments. It's the absolute worst! At least it will all be over soon and then I'll be free for Summer. I cannot begin to tell you how excited I am!

I hope you are all having a lovely weekend so far!

Dreaming Of Summer

Hello there! I know it is only April, but as I am stuck indoors revising, I cannot help but dream about Summertime. In just over one month I will be free from assignments and exams and I could not be more excited! I have found myself reminiscing quite a lot about last Summer. These photographs were taken by my lovely boyfriend, on a really sunny day we spent in the park. I cannot tell you how ready I am for lazy Summer days spent lying in the grass without a care in the world!

I hope you are all having a lovely day so far, and if you are in the middle of assignment just like me – good luck!

City Kitty

It is no secret that I am obsessed with kitty cats, and when I laid my eyes on this dress from Liberty Blue I just knew I had to try it on. I love everything about it, the cute cat print, the little red bows, the peter pan collar and ¾ length sleeves. It is so flattering and versatile - the perfect dress for any cat lover!

I hope you are all having a lovely weekend so far!
